groupHVAC was founded in 2001 as an online wholesaler of HVAC and janitorial supplies to commercial building managers in the Midwestern United States. Our initial Internet marketplace had over 50,000 products from a wide variety of manufacturers and resellers. Since that time we have provided consulting services across the commercial construction industry in the areas of contracting, construction management, product development, project management, energy services, service agreements, energy retrofits, performance contracting , system integration and HVAC controls.

Today, groupHVAC has refocused on providing green sustainable service to building owners and the manufacturers, contractors and service providers that supply them. Our team has extensive experience helping manufactures and contractors as they transition into the service business. We help service providers enhance and modernize their service offerings and we help building owners dramatically improve the maintenance and operation of their building systems.

The groupHVAC team is led by Stephen D. Cook, President. Steve has over 25 years in the commercial construction industry with Honeywell, Trane and groupHVAC. During this time, he has worked with many schools and commercial buildings as well as national retail, restaurant and entertainment chains in the areas of energy conservation, building optimization, maintenance and remote monitoring.
